Treorchy Male Choir Welcomes You
For over 140 years the Treorchy Male Choir has been recognised as one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. Early competition victories were followed by regular radio and television broadcasts, feature films and an unequalled number of commercial recordings.
The Choir has given Royal Command Performances, appeared alongside international entertainers and undertaken an enviable number of tours around the world.

The Treorchy Male Choir is regarded as one of the most foremost choral musical organisations globally, with a reputation for first-class performances for over 140 years. During that time, the choir has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for many worthy causes and, as a registered charity, continues to perform high-profile fundraising concerts.
The choir has made hundreds of TV and Radio appearances over the decades and has toured all over the globe, including touring Australia four times. Treorchy Male Choir has many firsts in its history, becoming the first Welsh Male Choir to sing at the Sydney Opera House and at St. David's Hall Cardiff. Treorchy Male Choir is also the most recorded Male Choir in history and even performed for Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
As a charitable organisation, the choir depends very much on the kindness and support of the general public, friends, family and even the choristers themselves. To ensure we continue to maintain our high standards it takes a surprisingly large amount of money to run the choir, and we are always grateful for any support offered.
We are inviting you to become a patron of the Treorchy Male Choir and join an exclusive family of supporters, helping to shape the future of the organisation. In appreciation of your generous support, we are pleased to offer all members of the patrons' society a copy of the choir's celebrated annual publication, ‘Excelsior’. This has been produced for over 65 years to record the organisation's success story.

The Choir rehearses every Monday and Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Bethlehem Chapel and visitors are always welcome.

Pen Y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund
'Treorchy Male Choir Concert Boost project'
Treorchy Male Choir is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant of £3,000 from the Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund.
The independent Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm Community Fund CIC is responsible for managing the £1.8 million a year Fund set up by European energy company Vattenfall, the wind farm operator.
The Fund will be in place until at least 2043.
